Dr. Christa Drakulic, Ph.D.
Postdoctoral Fellow | Telehealth Therapist for Adults in Ohio
Dr. Christa is a postdoctoral fellow providing telehealth therapy to adults throughout Ohio under the clinical supervision of Dr. Jenn Merthe-Grayson, PsyD.
When our car starts acting up, we take it to the mechanic. When we don't physically feel like ourselves, we see a doctor. Although there's nothing wrong with asking for help, it can be difficult for some - especially when it's stress, grief, anxiety, or when we feel stuck. Instead, many try to push through it alone.
Dr. Christa works with adults navigating trauma/PTSD, anxiety, stress, depression, grief and loss, and major life transitions - the kind of everyday overwhelm that builds up quietly until it becomes too heavy to carry alone. She has an integrative approach, with a therapeutic orientation of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and incorporates strengths-based care and techniques from other evidence-based modalities, tailored to each client's needs. She believes challenges are a part of life that don't have to be handled alone.
Dr. Christa provides a safe, collaborative, and judgment-free space, grounded in empathy, where you can think out loud with someone who is fully present. Together, you'll ask harder questions and gain insight and tools that can be applied to current challenges as well as ones in the future - at a pace that respects who you are.

Clinical Background
Dr. Christa's training spans a range of clinical and forensic settings, including community mental health, a university counseling center, a correctional facility, and a forensic state hospital. She also gained experience conducting court-ordered evaluations and treatment, including sex offender assessment and treatment, and co-facilitated groups addressing substance use, life skills, and conflict resolution. That breadth has given her comfort working across a wide range of populations and high-stakes situations, and shapes the steadiness and adaptability she brings to therapy today.
